Guess who's coming to dinner?

You never will . . . so let me start at the beginning. For Jamison's birthday party, we had a great idea. We called the BYU football hosting desk. They took us on a tour of the football facilities and scheduled a couple players to talk to the boys. Here they are with O'Niel Chambers (Receiver from Florida). He is not a member of the church. He was so great with the boys and talked to them about not playing video games but playing outside, working hard in school and doing what your parents tell you.

Then Harvey Unga stopped by for a few minutes and took pictures with the kids. Here he is with Jamison.

So, then, Dan invited O'Niel Chambers to come to dinner. I didn't think he really would. Surely he had better things to do . . . apparently not! He brought with him BYU's huge (in talent, not size) new recruits: Jake Heaps (Washington - #1 high school QB in the nation), Ross Apo (Texas - awesome receiver), and Kyle Van Noy (Reno - linebacker). These three just graduated early from high school to come play spring ball. They just got here a few weeks ago - probably missing a good home-cooked meal.

To make things even better - - it was Dan's Birthday!!! They ate and hung out for a while. I got Dan on video playing catch with these guys. They were all very nice and fun with the kids. (Jamison was showing off his bug collection). It was Awesome!! There could not have been a better birthday! Go Cougars!
